The 3050c is the floorstander for people who want full scale sound without a speaker that dominates the room. Elegant proportions and a minimal footprint mean it slots discreetly into a living space, but make no mistake, it has the muscularity and insight to take over the moment you press play.
Twin 142mm C3 Continuous Curved Cone mid/bass drivers do the heavy lifting, delivering deep, controlled bass dynamics with the articulate midrange that defines the 3000c range. A 22mm floating tweeter, hermetically sealed and isolated from the baffle, handles the highs with nuance and detail.
Being a tall cabinet, the 3050c benefits from HPE (Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer) tube technology, first developed for Q Acoustics' flagship Concept 500. Tubes inside the enclosure convert internal pressure into velocity, killing the standing waves that colour the sound and keeping the soundstage transparent. P2P (Point to Point) bracing keeps the whole structure rigid and focused.
Frequency response runs from 42Hz to 30kHz, with a 6 ohm nominal impedance and a generous 90dB sensitivity. It happily takes 25 to 150 watts per channel. Supplied with spikes and stabilisers for a solid, level stance.
