Performance Optical Graphite uses PMMA acrylic glass fibre with a stepped refractive index construction and fluorinated polymer cladding. The stepped index increases the contrast between core and cladding, which reduces modal dispersion and produces substantially lower jitter than standard optical cables. Attenuation is under 0.15dB per metre, making it suitable for longer runs without signal degradation.

Precision-machined Toslink plugs with integrated grip and 24K gold-plated contacts make for a connection that seats cleanly and does not work loose. Compliant with 24-bit/192kHz high-resolution audio. Minimum bend radius 9mm.
