The E1 is Goldring's entry point into the E Series, and it punches exactly where it needs to. Designed for budget to mid-range turntables with medium to high mass tonearms, it is the cartridge for anyone taking a serious first step into vinyl replay.
At its core is Goldring's Magnetic Duplex Technology, a dual magnet design that mirrors the geometry of a record cutting head. The result is more accurate groove tracing, better stereo separation, and a soundstage that sounds genuinely musical rather than just technically competent. A bonded spherical stylus sits on a carbon cantilever, keeping the setup forgiving and easy to dial in with minimal adjustment required.
Each cartridge is individually micro-adjusted at the factory to optimise channel balance, so it arrives ready to perform straight out of the box. Standard 3.5 mV output is compatible with any moving magnet phono input. Tracking weight sits between 1.5 and 2.5 grams.
Fits any standard half-inch mount headshell. Replacement E1 stylus available separately.
