The 3020c is the standmount that lets you hear all the scale and dynamism of your favourite records without letting the speakers take over the room. Its understated looks hide some seriously clever engineering, and the sound is far more confident and assertive than the cabinet suggests.
Like the rest of the 3000c range, it's built around the C3 Continuous Curved Cone mid/bass driver. The smooth, continuous curve combines proper low end punch with a clean, articulate midrange, and the larger 120mm bass driver here gives the 3020c real authority. Above it sits a 22mm floating tweeter, hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated from the baffle for lower distortion and seamless integration through the crossover.
P2P (Point to Point) bracing keeps the cabinet rigid where it matters, dissipating unwanted energy rather than letting it muddy the soundstage. The result is a focused, accurate stereo image with the kind of insight you'd expect from something far pricier.
Frequency response spans 60Hz to 30kHz, with a 6 ohm nominal impedance and 87dB sensitivity. It likes between 25 and 90 watts per channel. A pair of these and some decent stands is all you need.
