The trick is careful, clever engineering. A 142mm C3 Continuous Curved Cone mid/bass driver delivers low frequency power with the sort of control that lets the rest of the range shine through, so you get all the drive you want without anything turning to mush. The 22mm floating tweeter, hermetically sealed and isolated from the baffle, keeps the high frequencies clean and detailed right through the crossover region.
Q Acoustics' P2P (Point to Point) internal bracing reinforces only the precise points of the cabinet that need it, keeping the enclosure exceptionally rigid and the soundstage accurate. This is a speaker that combines weight and scale with real finesse.
Frequency response reaches down to 48Hz and up to 30kHz, with a 6 ohm nominal impedance and 86.5dB sensitivity. Feed it 25 to 90 watts per channel. It deserves a solid pair of stands.
