QED XT25 Speaker Cable

QED's X-Tube technology takes the conductor geometry research from the company's flagship cables and puts it into a speaker cable at an everyday price. The XT25 is the result: a cable that uses a fundamentally better construction than conventional parallel-conductor designs and charges you a sensible amount for it.

X-Tube arranges multiple conductors radially around a low-density polyethylene core, distributing current evenly across the entire cross-section on every cycle. Standard cables concentrate current at the outer skin of each conductor, especially at high frequencies, introducing losses that dull detail and smear transient edges. The LDPE dielectric has far lower energy loss than PVC, so less of the signal is wasted heating the insulation. Conductors are 99.999% oxygen-free copper throughout.

Pre-terminated pairs come fitted with Airloc Heat Shrink 4mm banana plugs using QED's cold weld system. Cross-sectional area 2.5mm². Available in 2m and 3m.
